The Sony PDW-U2 USB 3.0 XDCAM Disc Drive is an external drive for conveying media to and from all XDCAM Professional Discs, whether SD or HD, single-, dual- or even quad-layer. The drive sits on your desk either horizontally or vertically and connects to your computer via USB 3.0, for extremely high data transfer speeds. (USB 3.0 is also backwards-compatible with USB 2.0, for compatibility with older systems.)
Sony J30-SDI
The J-30SDI is a video tape player only for the entire range of Betacam-derived ½-inch formats. Those formats include Betacam, Beta SP, Beta SX, MPEG/IMX and Digital Betacam. The players work with both NTSC and PAL recorded elements. To fit into modern edit suites and production facilities, the unit outputs iLink which is Sony's version of FireWire, along with uncompressed SDI video for the highest quality standard definition video available.

The DVW-A500P will record 625/50 component digital signals on Digital Betacam tape and also will record a PAL analog composite signal input with the optional BKDW-506 composite input board.As in the NTSC model, the DVW-A500P will play back analog Betacam and Digital Betacam tapes that were recorded on respective analog Betacam or Digital Betacam VTRs.
